Place de la Bastille

Opéra Bastille is our neighbour, and we are well connected to public transport so you can quickly reach all of Paris’s top museums. However, we recommend walking to Notre-Dame Cathedral and wandering around Ile Saint-Louis on foot.

Alain Ducasse recently opened his Manufacture de Chocolat just down the road from us. And only a stone’s throw from the hotel, you can find top restaurants like the gourmet coffee shop Muscovado, the extremely elegant Dersou, the reservation-only Septime, East Mamma – the first in the Big Mamma family – and Buffet for solid French cuisine.

In addition to our own cocktail bar, we highly recommend our friends at Moonshiner for a speakeasy cocktail and the great drinks at Lone Palm, Sherry Butt and Bluebird. For those who want more, Badaboum and Pachamama have all the night-time action.

Our hotel is just a short distance from the Marais district, the mecca of shopping in Paris where shops are open Sundays (a rarity in France). The Bastille district is one of the liveliest in Paris, with its many cafés, bars, restaurants and cinemas. And the Port de l’Arsenal marina is ideal for strolling around or going for a run.
