What are the reception hours?
The front desk is open 24 hours a day. Emails and phone calls are processed between 6:00 AM and midnight, Paris time.
Can I smoke/vape in the hotel?
Smoking inside the hotel Oh la la! is strictly forbidden. This ban is valid in the room and in all areas of the hotel, including the windows. A penalty of €150 will be charged if this ban is not respected.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed in hotel rooms and common areas.
Can I access the internet from the hotel?
Oh la la! has a free Wi-Fi internet connection throughout the hotel.

What are the accepted methods of payment?
You can pay with Visa, AMEX, Eurocard, Mastercard, cash or holiday vouchers.
How do I change or cancel an existing reservation?
If your reservation was made with the flexible rate, you can change or cancel it up to the time specified on your reservation.
If your reservation was made at a non-cancellable or non-refundable rate, it cannot be changed or cancelled free of charge. Please contact us as soon as possible to let us know: as soon as the cancellation is confirmed, we will try to resell the room and will issue you a credit note for the value excluding commission at which we would have managed to resell it and valid for 1 year. All this is to be reconfirmed with us subject to the possibility on a case-by-case basis.

How many floors without an elevator?
Our hotel has 16 rooms on 6 floors without an elevator. You will therefore have between 1 and 6 floors to climb. For this reason, our establishment is not recommended for people with mobility problems. Do not hesitate to contact us in advance to request a low floor if you wish. Subject to availability, we will be happy to accommodate your request.
Are you a hotel that is rather quiet or lively at night?
Our hotel and our bar are a real haven of peace in the heart of Place de la Bastille.
The Bastille district is lively, especially at night and on weekends. In order to guarantee the comfort of our customers, all our rooms are equipped with efficient double glazing (-36 dB) as well as air conditioning, allowing you to sleep comfortably with the windows closed.
For people who are more sensitive to noise, we nevertheless recommend our four rooms overlooking the courtyard, which are quieter.
Since Place de la Bastille is one of the most important squares in Paris, there can in fact be traffic and sirens (police or ambulance) during the night, as in any central district of the capital.
Is it a good hotel for a couple?
Thanks to its intimate size and especially to its spectacular view of one of the most iconic squares in Paris, our hotel is the ideal gift to give to your other half.
By a happy coincidence, our very first customers were a honeymoon couple from abroad... and they have been coming back to visit us very regularly ever since!
Is it suitable for a professional stay?
Oh la la! Is perfectly suited for a professional stay. The metro station just in front of the hotel makes it easy to reach all areas of Paris, and a nearby taxi stand is convenient for those who prefer to get around in other ways.
All of our rooms can also be arranged with two twin beds to accommodate colleagues. In the evening, our business customers enjoy relaxing over a small beer at the counter, chatting in a friendly way with our bartenders.
Is there noise at night around Place de la Bastille?
Since Place de la Bastille is one of the most important squares in Paris, there may be traffic and sirens (police or ambulance) during the night.
For your comfort, all our rooms are equipped with efficient double glazing (-36 dB) and air conditioning, allowing you to sleep with the windows closed.
For people who are particularly sensitive to noise, we recommend our four rooms overlooking the courtyard, which offer absolute peace and quiet.
Are stairs difficult?
Our staircases, typically Parisian, lead up to the sixth floor. For reasons of safety and comfort, we do not recommend our hotel to people with mobility difficulties.
Do you recommend the hotel for seniors?
Yes, we highly recommend our hotel for seniors. One of our most loyal guests is in their nineties. (without us ever daring to ask her age, of course). We always reserve her favorite room on the first floor and keep a bottle of prosecco in the fridge, which she and her family enjoy when they visit.
Does the hotel have an elevator?
The hotel does not have an elevator. The rooms are accessible by stairs. We recommend checking the configuration when booking if you have specific mobility needs.

The hotel is located at 6 rue de la Roquette — Paris 75011. It is served by metro lines 1, 5 and 8 and by bus lines 20, 29, 65, 69, 76, 86, 87 and 91.

Can I park at the hotel?
We do not have private parking, you can park in paid parking spaces near the hotel or reserve a space in one of the nearby car parks.
Nearest car park: Saint-Antoine car park located at 45 rue Faubourg Saint-Antoine.
Which parking do you recommend?
We recommend Q-Park, as it is the closest car park to the hotel and we have negotiated a preferential rate for our guests. Click on “book your space here” to take advantage of this offer.

Does the hotel have air conditioning?
Yes, all our rooms are air conditioned to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. Please note that the system produces either hot or cold depending on the season. Thus, it is not possible to have air conditioning in winter and heat in summer. Do not hesitate to contact our reception for any additional information.
Are the rooms cleaned during the stay?
Yes, your room is cleaned between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. If you want the service at a more specific time, please let us know.
Which rooms are suitable for families?
Our room Bastille Triple View is suitable for families with one child.
Are there baby cots in the rooms?
Yes, they are available to you free of charge. Just specify in your reservation that you want a baby bed.
Can I request a room without a Bastille view?
We have four rooms overlooking the courtyard. They offer absolute calm, ideal for relaxing in peace, while maintaining the charm of our hotel.
Are the rooms on the Bastille side brighter?
Twelve of our sixteen rooms overlook Place de la Bastille, offering absolutely magnificent light from afternoon until sunset.
For your naps during the day, our curtains and thick curtains allow you to obtain total darkness, for optimal comfort.
Is there a safe in the rooms?
Each room has its own safe. Guests choose their own personal code to store his valuable documents and belongings there.
Do the rooms have a desk?
Each room has a desk whose size allows you to work.
Can we open the windows?
Yes, the windows open in each room. They allow you to ventilate and enjoy the view.
Is there a hair dryer?
A quality hair dryer is available in each room.

Do you help carry luggage upstairs?
When our customers drop off their luggage in the morning, we put it directly into their room as soon as it is ready.
In the evening, we are also happy to offer our help to assemble the luggage, as long as we are available.
For help getting your bags down in the morning, simply dial 9 from the room phone. Our team is always happy to assist you.
What are the breakfast hours?
Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:30 every morning. Unless booked at the same time as the accommodation, this service is not automatically included with the room.
The cost of breakfast is €15 for adults and €8 for children aged 4 to 12. It is free for children under 4.
Is room service available for breakfast?
Breakfast is not available in the room.
What are the bar hours?
Our bar team welcomes you every day from 17:00 until midnight.

We will be happy to meet your personal needs and provide the appropriate food. Please let us know about your intolerance and/or diet when booking or a few days prior to arrival.
Check-in / Check-out
What is the check-in time?
Depending on availability, early check-in can be arranged. Please contact our reservations department if you want to arrive earlier. However, to guarantee that your room is ready by 4:00 PM, we advise you to book the night before.
If an early check-in before 4:00 PM is not possible, you can leave your luggage in our luggage room and enjoy the hotel or the good addresses in the neighborhood in the meantime.
What is the check-out time?
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM.
If you want to keep your room after 11:00 AM, please contact reception the day before departure, or reserve the room for an additional night.
Can I arrive late at night?
Of course, we welcome all our customers at all hours. After midnight, a night watchman is present at all times.
Can I leave very early in the morning?
You can leave at any time.
Our breakfast starts at 7:00 AM but if you let us know the day before, we can prepare you a coffee to take away from 6:00 AM.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?
We can store your luggage safely and free of charge, before you arrive or after you leave.
Are early arrivals and late departures accepted?
Early arrivals and late departures are subject to room availability.
Late check-out is possible at an additional cost and subject to availability.

Can I take a shower after check out?
Unfortunately, we do not have free access to showers. A spacious WC is available at the bar on the ground floor, allowing you to freshen up in complete convenience.

Are you close to Place des Vosges?
We are located just 600 meters from the Place des Vosges, about 7 to 8 minutes on foot, with its magnificent garden. Our hotel is an excellent alternative, more affordable than the very luxurious establishments in the area.
Are you close to the Bataclan?
The hotel Oh la la! is 1 km from the Le Bataclan concert and entertainment hall, about a 15-minute walk along Richard Lenoir Boulevard and its beautiful gardens.
Are you close to the Accor Arena (Bercy)?
The hotel is located 2 km from the Accor Arena, just 15 minutes away by metro (line 1), Oh la la! is an excellent choice to rest after a concert in Bercy. Instead of staying in the Bercy district, enjoy the charm of Bastille with its lively restaurants and bars after the show!
How long does it take to reach the Marais on foot?
Just cross the square and take Saint Antoine Street to be in the Marais. The hotel Oh la la! Is the best alternative to enjoy the Marais without breaking the bank!
Are you well located to visit Paris without a car?
We have to be honest, in 2026, we do not recommend that anyone take their car in Paris. So the best choice is the hotel Oh la la! which directly serves the most sought-after areas: very close to the Marais, direct access to the Eiffel Tower by metro, and all museums.
Is the hotel suitable for one night before an operation in Les Quinze-Vingts?
We are located only 300 meters from the Quinze-Vingts National Hospital Center for Ophthalmology, which is less than 5 minutes away on foot.
Many patients from Les Quinze-Vingts trust us for their stay in Paris and choose the hotel Oh la la!
For comfort and safety reasons, we generally recommend a room located on the lower floors, as these are often patients coming for ophthalmological procedures. Prudence and serenity are our priorities.
Are you close to the Gare de Lyon?
We are located only 1 km from the Gare de Lyon, about 15 minutes on foot, passing in front of the Opera Bastille.
By metro, it takes about 5 minutes via line 1 (only one stop). All you have to do is take exit 1 “Rue de la Roquette”, which leads right in front of the hotel.
Is this hotel suitable for a stay before and after a show at the Opera Bastille?
Our hotel is the closest to the Opera Bastille, making it an ideal choice for your outings and shows.
Many Opera Bastille spectators already trust us for their stay in Paris, and appreciate our convenient and central location.
