What are the reception hours?

The reception is open 24/7. Emails and phone calls are handled between 6:00 AM and midnight, Paris time.

Can I smoke or vape at the hotel?

Smoking on hotel premises  is strictly prohibited. This policy applies to all rooms and public areas of the hotel, including at the windows. A penalty of €150 will be charged if this policy is not respected.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Pets are not permitted in the rooms or common areas of the hotel.

Only service animals are allowed to ensure everyone is welcomed under the best possible conditions, a proof of identity may be requested during your stay.

Can I access the internet from the hotel?

Oh my! offers free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Can I use a promotional code to book?

What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay with a Visa, AMEX, Eurocard, or Mastercard, in cash, or with holiday vouchers.

How many floors are there without an elevator?

Our hotel has 16 rooms spread over 6 floors without an elevator. You will therefore have between 1 and 6 flights of stairs to climb. For this reason, our establishment is not recommended for guests with mobility issues. Please feel free to contact us in advance to request a lower floor if you wish. Subject to availability, we will be happy to accommodate you.

Is your hotel quiet or lively in the evening?

Our hotel and bar are a true haven of peace in the heart of Place de la Bastille.

The Bastille district is lively and bustling in the evening, especially on weekends. To ensure the comfort of our guests, all our rooms are equipped with high-performance double glazing (-36 dB) as well as air conditioning, allowing you to sleep comfortably with the windows closed.

For those who are more sensitive to noise, we nevertheless recommend our four courtyard-facing rooms, which are quieter.

As Place de la Bastille is one of the busiest thoroughfares in Paris, there may be some traffic and sirens (police or ambulance) during the night, as is the case in any central district of the capital.

Is this a good hotel for a couple's getaway?

Thanks to its intimate size and, above all, its spectacular view of one of the most iconic squares in Paris, our hotel is the perfect gift to give to your significant other.

As luck would have it, our very first guests were a honeymooning couple from abroad… and they have been coming back to visit us very regularly ever since!

Is it suitable for a business trip?

Oh la la ! is perfectly suited for a business trip. The metro station right in front of the hotel makes it easy to reach all parts of Paris, and a nearby taxi stand is convenient for those who prefer to get around differently.

All our rooms can also be set up with two twin beds to accommodate colleagues. In the evening, our business guests enjoy relaxing with a beer at the bar, chatting in a friendly atmosphere with our bartenders.

Is it noisy at night around the Place de la Bastille?

The Place de la Bastille is one of the busiest squares in Paris, so there can be some traffic and sirens (police or ambulance) during the night.

For your comfort, all our rooms are equipped with high-performance double glazing (-36 dB) and air conditioning, allowing you to sleep with the windows closed.

For those who are particularly sensitive to noise, we recommend our four courtyard-facing rooms, which offer absolute quiet.

Are the stairs difficult?

Our typically Parisian stairs lead up to the sixth floor. For safety and comfort reasons, we do not recommend our hotel to guests with mobility issues.

Do you recommend the hotel for elderly guests?

Yes, we certainly welcome elderly guests ! One of our most loyal guests is quite elderly (though we would never dream of asking her age, of course). We always reserve her favorite room on the first floor and keep a bottle of prosecco chilled, which she enjoys with her family during their visits.

Does the hotel have an elevator?

The hotel does not have an elevator. Rooms are accessible via stairs. We recommend checking the layout when booking if you have specific mobility requirements.

Can I book multiple rooms for a group in a single request?

Yes, our sales team will centralize your request to simplify the overall management of your group booking.

Does the hotel have coworking or workspaces?

Yes, the hotel offers several pleasant spaces to work during your stay.

You can settle in comfortably in the hotel inviting lobby or enjoy the terrace in the quiet inner courtyard, perfect for coworking, remote work, or a moment of relaxation between meetings.

How do I get to the hotel?

The hotel is located at 6 rue de la Roquette – 75011 Paris. It is served by metro lines 1, 5 and 8 and by bus lines 20, 29, 65, 69, 76, 86, 87 and 91.

Can I park at the hotel?

We do not have a private parking lot, you can park in paid spaces around the hotel or book a spot in one of the nearby parking lots.
Closest parking: Saint-Antoine Parking located at 45 rue Faubourg Saint-Antoine.

Which parking do you recommend?

We recommend the Q-Park parking, as it is the closest to the hotel and we have negotiated a special rate for our guests. Click "book your spot here" to take advantage of it.

Does the hotel have air conditioning?

Yes, all of our rooms are air-conditioned to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. Please note that the system provides either heating or cooling depending on the season. Therefore, it is not possible to have air conditioning in winter and heating in summer. Please feel free to contact our front desk for any further information.

Are rooms cleaned during the stay?

Yes, your room is cleaned between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. If you would like service at a specific time, please let us know.

Which rooms are suitable for families?

Our room Triple Bastille View is suitable for families with one child.

Are there baby cots in the rooms?

Yes, they are provided free of charge for your use. Simply specify in your booking that you would like a baby cot.

Can I request a room without a Bastille view?

We have four rooms overlooking the courtyard. They offer absolute quiet, perfect for relaxing in complete tranquility while maintaining the charm of our hotel.

Are the Bastille-side rooms brighter?

Twelve of our sixteen rooms overlook the Place de la Bastille, offering absolutely magnificent light from the afternoon until sunset.

For your daytime naps, our sheer and heavy curtains allow for total darkness, for optimal comfort.

Is there a safe in the rooms?

Each room has its own safe. Guests choose their own personal code to store their documents and valuables.

Do the rooms have a desk?

Each room has a desk large enough to work at.

Do the rooms have a minibar?

No, the rooms do not have a minibar.

If you need to keep any items chilled during your stay, our team can store them in the refrigerator at the front desk. Please feel free to speak with the reception team to arrange this.

Do the rooms have an espresso machine?

No, the rooms do not have an espresso machine.

However, each room is equipped with a hospitality tray including a kettle, regular and decaffeinated instant coffee, as well as a selection of teas and herbal infusions so you can enjoy a hot drink at any time of day.

Can the windows be opened?

Yes, the windows in every room open. They allow you to air out the room and enjoy the view.

Is there a hairdryer?

A high-quality hairdryer is available in every room.

Are the rooms equipped for remote work?

Yes, all hotel rooms feature high-speed Wi-Fi and offer a quiet environment, perfect for remote work.

For greater comfort while working, we particularly recommend our Superior, Superior with balcony, Executive, Family, and Connecting rooms, as well as our Studios and Apartments, which feature a dedicated desk area that is more spacious and well-suited for business stays.

What time is check-in?

Subject to availability, an early check-in may be possible. Please contact our reservations team if you would like to arrive earlier. However, to guarantee access to your room before 4:00 PM, we recommend booking the previous night.

If an early check-in before 4:00 PM is not possible, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our storage room and enjoy the hotel or explore the local area while you wait.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 11:00 AM.

If you would like to keep your room after 11 a.m., please contact the front desk the day before your departure, or book the room for an additional night.

Can I arrive late at night?

Of course, we welcome all our guests at any time. After midnight, a night porter is on duty at all times.

Can I leave very early in the morning?

You can check out at any time.
Our breakfast starts at 7 a.m, but if you let us know the day before, we can prepare a coffee to go for you from 6 a.m..

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?

We can store your luggage securely and free of charge, before your arrival or after your departure.

Are early check-ins and late check-outs accepted?

Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to room availability.

Late check-out is available for an additional fee and is subject to availability.

Can I take a shower after checking out?

Unfortunately, we do not have a public shower. A spacious restroom is available at the ground floor bar, allowing you to freshen up comfortably.

What are the breakfast hours?

Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:30 am every morning. Unless booked at the same time as your accommodation, this service is not automatically included with your room.

The cost of breakfast is €15 for adults and €8 for children aged 4 to 12. It is free for children under 4 years old.

Is room service available for breakfast?

Breakfast is not available in rooms.

What are the bar hours?

Our bar team welcomes you every day from 5:00 pm until midnight.

Can we come just for a drink?

Of course, you are welcome to stop by for a cocktail or a glass of wine in a friendly atmosphere.

Yes, the bar is open to everyone, whether you are a hotel guest or not.

Do you have food intolerances or special dietary requirements?

We would be happy to accommodate your specific needs and provide suitable alternatives. Please inform us of your intolerance and/or dietary requirements when booking or a few days before your arrival.

What hotel services are available?

The hotel offers several services to make your stay as pleasant as possible, including a television with digital channels, a breakfast room, a bar, a luggage storage area as well as a library.

Do you offer laundry service or ironing equipment?

We do not offer laundry service.

However, an iron and ironing board can be provided upon request at the front desk. Our team will be happy to bring them directly to your room, subject to availability.

Do you help with carrying luggage to the rooms?

Yes, of course. When our guests drop off their luggage in the morning, we place it directly in their room as soon as it is ready.

In the evening, we are also happy to offer our help to bring luggage up, subject to availability. If you would like assistance bringing your luggage down in the morning, simply dial 9 from your room phone. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Do you host private events or venue buyouts?

Are you near the Place des Vosges?

We are located just 600 meters from Place des Vosges, or about a 7 to 8-minute walk, with its magnificent garden. Our hotel is an excellent, more affordable alternative to the very luxurious establishments on the square.

Are you near the Bataclan?

The Oh la la ! hotel is located 1 km from the Bataclan concert and performance venue, which is about a 15-minute walk along Boulevard Richard Lenoir and its beautiful gardens.

Are you near the Accor Arena (Bercy)?

Located 2 km from the Accor Arena, just 15 minutes by metro (line 1), Oh la la ! is a great choice for resting after a concert at Bercy. Instead of staying in the Bercy area, enjoy the charm of the Bastille with its restaurants and lively bars after the show!

How long does it take to walk to the Marais?

Just cross the square and take Rue Saint Antoine to be in the Marais. The hotel Oh la la ! is the best alternative for enjoying Le Marais without breaking the bank !

Are you well-positioned to visit Paris without a car?

To be honest, in 2026, we do not recommend that anyone drive their car in Paris. The best choice is therefore the hotel Oh la la ! which provides direct access to the most sought-after neighborhoods : very close to Le Marais, direct access to the Eiffel Tower by metro, and all the museums.

Is the hotel suitable for a stay before surgery at the Quinze-Vingts hospital?

We are located just 300 meters from the Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital , which is less than a 5-minute walk.

Many patients from the Quinze-Vingts trust us for their stay in Paris and choose our hotel Oh la la !

For comfort and safety, we generally recommend a room on the lower floors, as these are often patients coming in for eye surgery. Care and peace of mind are our priorities.

Are you near Gare de Lyon?

We are located just 1 km from Gare de Lyon, or about a 15-minute walk, passing by the Opéra Bastille.

By metro, it takes about 5 minutes via line 1 (just one stop). Simply take exit no. 1 "Rue de la Roquette," which leads you right in front of the hotel.

Is this hotel suitable for a stay before or after a show at the Opéra Bastille?

Our hotel is the closest to the Opéra Bastille, making it an ideal choice for your evenings out and shows.

We offer different pricing between our website and third-party sites. You will therefore always get a better price by booking directly with us. How can I modify or cancel an existing reservation?

The cancellation and modification conditions depend on the rate selected at the time of booking.

With the Flexible Rate – 14:00 on arrival day, full payment for the stay is due on the day of arrival, via a secure payment link sent by email a few days before the due date. Free cancellation is available until 2:00 pm (French local time) on the day of arrival.

For all four flexible rates, in the event of late cancellation or modification, no-show or early departure, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

The Non-Refundable Rate requires full prepayment at the time of booking. Once the reservation has been made, it cannot be modified or cancelled, and the amount paid is non-refundable, including in the event of a change of dates or no-show.
